The UCF basketball team played well enough to win on Wednesday night. But instead of celebrating a victory, the Knights (14-8, 1-8 in C-USA) are left scratching their heads in disbelief.

Before returning to Orlando for a matchup against UTEP on Thursday, the UCF women’s basketball team is on the road at Tulsa on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Knights are currently 11-10 overall and 4-4 in Conference USA.

Even with his big contribution, the UCF basketball team suffered the same fate for the sixth consecutive time with a 74-69 loss to UAB at the UCF Arena. The Knights are now 1-6 in C-USA.

For the fourth-consecutive time, the UCF basketball team found itself on the wrong side of the scoreboard Saturday night at UCF Arena. The Knights dropped to 14-4 overall and 1-4 in C-USA.

On schedule Friday in the second round of the Florida high school football playoffs are huge matchups featuring local teams… Oak Ridge at Dr. Phillips; Winter Park at Seminole; DeLand at Orange Park.

On Sunday the Knights lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at home in the final minute. Melissa Smith was in position to handle a deflected shot off of UCF’s Aline Reis before sending her own shot into the corner of the net.

For the first time in program history UCF is ranked in the Top 25, coming in at No. 23 in the coaches and No. 25 in the Associated Press rankings. The Knights join Florida as the only in-state schools ranked.

It suddenly seems as though March 9 was a long time ago for the UCF baseball team. the Knights avenged a 19-2 defeat at the hands of mighty Miami by shocking the No. 12 Hurricanes, 6-3, on Tuesday night at Alex Rodriguez Park in Coral Gables.

They finished the regular season with nine-straight wins and the Conference USA regular season title. This week the No. 8 UCF women’s soccer team takes the top seed into the C-USA Tournament over the weekend in Dallas, Texas.
