Magic and Preds fall hard Friday night in Orlando

It was a tough Friday night for local sports fans in Orlando. The NBA’s Magic and AFL’s Predators each suffered big losses to rival teams. Football spectators at Amway Arena were treated to a double dose of heartache as the NBA game was shown on the arena jumbotron.

Magic extend series, Celtics to return to Orlando

With the basketball world having already left them for dead, the Orlando Magic gutted out a 96-92 overtime win in Game 4 on the road in Boston. That effort returns the Eastern Conference Finals to Amway Arena on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

Clouds roll in as Magic drop first game in playoffs

As bad as things got for the Orlando Magic in Sunday’s opener of the Eastern Conference Finals, such as trailing by 20 points and never holding a lead, the home team nearly pulled out the comeback before falling to the Boston Celtics 92-88.
