Saturday’s Black and Gold spring football game at Bright House Networks Stadium is expected to feature the return of over 35 former UCF Knights. The game gets underway at 2 p.m. Admission is $5.
The UCF softball team scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning Wednesday to defeat Florida State 2-1 in dramatic fashion at the UCF Softball Complex. The Knights played in front of 538 fans.
Sophomore Darnell Sweeney made up for an error that allowed No. 4 Florida to break a 2-2 tie in the eighth inning on Tuesday by lining a two-out, two-run double to center to give UCF a 4-3 win in Gainesville.

The UCF men’s basketball season come to a close against Creighton on Wednesday in the College basketball Invitational semifinals in Omaha, Nebraska. The Knights fell 82-64, finishing the season 21-12 overall.
UCF junior Jackie Coward was named the 2011 Conference USA Indoor Female Track Athlete of the Year by league coaches, becoming the first Knight in program history to earn the award.
