Facing a decisive game three in the 2010 National Pro Fastpitch Championship Series, the Florida Pride handed the ball to ace pitcher Cat Osterman. She put on a two hit, seven strikeout complete-game performance in a 7-2 win.

The USSSA Florida Pride concluded its regular season this past weekend, taking three out of four games from the Akron Racers at the UCF Softball Complex. The Pride finished with a 28-20 mark and is the No. 2 seed in the NPF Championship Series this weekend in Sulphur, Louisiana.

Last year Cat Osterman won most valuable player honors by helping wrap up the National Pro Fastpitch Cowles Cup as she led the Rockford Thunder to a series win over the expansion USSSA Pride. This weekend she’s pitching for the Pride at UCF Softball Complex.
