Williams, Washington Lead N.C. State At Champs

Jarvis Williams caught six passes for 77 yards and a touchdown and James Washington rushed for 62 yards on 18 carries in a 23-7 win for N.C. State over West Virginia at the Champs Sports Bowl.

Casey Powell, one of the most decorated lacrosse players in United States history, will hold a holiday camp in Orlando from Dec. 27-29. The Casey Powell Lacrosse Camp will be held at Barber Park.



Dr. Phillips Falls To Miami Central In Title Game

Dr. Phillips suffered its first loss of the season 42-27 against Miami Central in the Class 6A state final on Saturday night at Florida Citrus Bowl. The Panthers finished No. 2 in the state and 14-1 overall.



East Beats West In Orange County Senior Bowl

Just as it did a year ago, the annual East-West Orange County Senior Bowl came down to the final play of the game Wednesday night. Kyle Herrera’s 34-yard field goal won it for the East 20-17.
