Last Friday Seminole handled Winter Springs 23-0 as Deron Thompson rushed for 66 yards and went 7-of-11 for 75 yards and a touchdown. Winter Springs turned around and got a win on the road on Thursday against Lyman 49-28.

The UCF football team defeats a ranked team, Isaac Sosa hits six three-pointers for the UCF basketball team, Lyman’s Spencer Shumway bowls his way to a state title, Olympia High alum Chris Johnson puts up big numbers in the NFL, and former Bishop Moore standout Jennifer George debuts in a big way.

Once Spencer Shumway officially wrapped up his state bowling title last week at Boardwalk Bowl in East Orlando he barely showed the emotion one would expect after attaining such an accomplishment.
