Previewing Magic Opponents – Pacific Division

The Lakers would go on to advanced to their third-straight NBA Finals and capture their second title in a row with a win over the Boston Celtics in seven games. Rounding out the Pacific Division were the Los Angeles Clippers (29-53), Golden State Warriors (26-56) and Sacramento Kings (25-57).

Lakers Forward Matt Barnes played for the Magic last season… Phoenix Forward Grant Hill spent six injury-plagued seasons with the Magic from 2000-07… Forward Hedo Turkoglu enters his first season with the Suns. He played in Orlando from 2004-09 before moving on to the Toronto Raptors a year ago… Forward Brian Cook entered the preseason with the Clippers. He spent parts of the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons in Orlando…
