The announcement came on Tuesday night as the National Basketball Association revealed its showcase games for the upcoming 2010-11 season.

Just one night after opening the new arena, the Magic are off to Miami to play in front of ESPN cameras on Friday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m., in what will be the home-opener for the Heat.
The Magic hosts the Boston Celtics on Saturday, Dec. 25 at 2:30 p.m. on ABC, making it the third-straight game on Christmas Day for Orlando and marking the team’s eighth time playing on Christmas in all. And it won’t be long before the Magic and Celtics get together again for another holiday go-round as they meet up again in Boston on Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. on TNT.
The NBA will announce the entire 2010-11 regular season schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 10.
