Peyser scooped up a season-high 16 loose balls for the Titans and had two assists while helping hold off the Knighthawks, who managed just 32 shots on goal, in a 13-8 win for the Titans.

Also factoring in on the first league award for the team this season was Peyser’s 60-percent (12-for-20) effort on faceoffs on the night. Two of the faceoffs won by the four-year player led to goals in the final period of play during a tight game down the stretch.

The Johns Hopkins alum entered 2010 with 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points over 30 games over three seasons of play while the Titans were stationed in New York between 2007-09. Through three games this season, Peyser has one goal and four assists to his credit for the 2-1 Titans, and has won 39 of 66 faceoffs thus far.

Orlando will be back at Amway Arena on Feb. 20 against Boston for “Hometown Heroes Night”, where current and retired military personal will be honored along with public safety officers, following road games at Colorado (Feb. 5) and Philadelphia (Feb. 6).
