The Knights (16-4-1 overall, 10-1-0 in C-USA) are scheduled to take on UW-Milwaukee on Friday in Madison, Wis. with the winner moving on to meet either Wisconsin or Arizona State in the second round.
UW-Milwaukee (12-5-3) is led by the nations leading goal scorer Sarah Hagan, who has tallied 24 goals for the Horizon League champs. The Knights have yet to earn a win over UW-Milwaukee (0-3-0 vs. the Panthers) or even Arizona State (0-1-0) while holding a 1-2-1 mark against Wisconsin throughout the history of the program.
UCF is making its 14th trip to the NCAA Tournament (eighth in 11 years under head coach Amanda Cromwell) and their third trip in the past three years. The Knights have been placed in the same 16-team bracket as overall No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Boston College and No. 4 Santa Clara.
